Did You Check Your Town Records?

I recently had a sale not go forward because a deck did not have the necessary permits and the buyer was unwilling to wait for the owner to apply and get the necessary approval. Even if you are not plannuing to sell for another year check the Town records now. In some instances it can take up to 6 months to get everying approved.
