Mr. Doom and Mr. Bear

In 2005-2006 two econimists predicted our current housing collapse-Nouriel Roubini known as Dr. Doom and-John Paulsen known as Mr. Bear.

What is interesting is that both have recently purchased homes in New York City. Could they be right again? Is now the right time to buy real estate?
